Onyx Entertainment provides DJ/MC services for weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, private celebrations, concerts, and events in the Nashville area and throughout Middle Tennessee. Every DJ package includes professional DJ/MC service, premium sound and lighting, early setup, post-event breakdown, and microphone support for scheduled event moments.
Onyx DJ packages are available in five-hour and six-hour formats. Available enhancements include digital photo booths, LED uplighting, cold-spark fountains, karaoke, projector and screen rentals, light-up cowboy hats, country line-dance instruction, photography, videography, dance floor rentals, welcome signs, and yard games.
DJ/MC Service Built Around Your Event Timeline
A DJ/MC supports more than dancing. Onyx plans music and announcements around the event schedule, including guest arrival, cocktail hour, dinner, introductions, speeches, awards, formal moments, open dancing, and the final song.
Onyx’s DJ planning process includes an event questionnaire followed by a meeting, phone call, or FaceTime conversation to organize event details. The planning process can address the event timeline, music preferences, requested songs, do-not-play selections, announcements, and microphone needs.

Digital and print photo booths: Digital delivery by text or email for photos, GIFs, and Boomerangs; selected packages also include props, backdrops, attendants, unlimited prints, and keepsake scrapbooks.
Photography and videography: Photography coverage includes retouched images, online galleries, and print releases; videography packages include 4K filming, digital downloads, and highlight-film options.
Dance floor rentals: Matte checkerboard, black, and white dance-floor options are available in specified sizes and capacities.
LED uplighting and cold-spark fountains: Lighting can shape the event environment; cold sparks are available for indoor or outdoor use, subject to venue approval and requirements.
Additional event services
Onyx can coordinate additional event services and rentals around the DJ/MC plan. Availability depends on the selected package, event date, venue requirements, and setup conditions.
Karaoke: Includes a host, four wireless microphones, lyric screen, sound system, lighting, and a library of more than 50,000 songs.
Projector and screen rentals: 4K projector options are available with 84-inch or 100-inch tripod screens.
Country line-dance instruction: Onyx offers country line-dance instructors for guided group participation at country-themed events, weddings, corporate celebrations, and private parties.
Interactive rentals: Light-up cowboy hats, cornhole, Giant Connect Four, Ladder Ball, Giant Jenga, and other yard games may be available.
Welcome signs: Mirror and easel welcome-sign options are available, with custom calligraphy offered as an option.
